Sing and Dance

 Here's a little observation I've made: most people sing in the shower right? I don't. Instead I dance - which is probably not the smartest thing to do since I may very well slip and fall.

Here's another observation: at parties, people dance on the dance floor. I don't really do that. However, I sing the lyrics of the songs at the top of my voice, which is silly because the dance floor is for dancing on.

I don't really know what the point of me telling that is but I thought it was something interesting anyways. I wonder if anyone else does that or if it's just something that only I do.

ANZAC day

It's ANZAC day. ANZAC standing for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. On the 25th of April these soldiers are remembered for their efforts in defending Australia and New Zealand during war times. 

Lest we forget.

Poseidon

I went to A.S.I.A's Fresher event last night: Poseidon! It was awesome but my feet were hurting like crazy and it was really hard to walk/dance. My legs were even vibrating! Also, I got hungry towards the end of the night which was not cool.

The music was really crappy to begin with but it got a lot better after the drinking competitions and dance offs. I saw quite a few people whom I didn't realise was going to be there so I got to dance with most of them too =]

My friends and I left about 20 minutes before the party ended to grab some bubble tea. The party was held at the Empyrean and once you leave you can't get back in, but we left anyways despite knowing this fact. By the time we finished our bubble tea the party was over already so it was fine. Apparently loads of people left when we did. We saw loads of people from the party at the bubble tea shop too and they all arrived after we did - meaning we must be trend setters! ;)

Prosh

Prosh is on tomorrow!

Prosh is basically a charity event held by the students of the University of Western Australia where students dress up (some according to their faculty theme) and sell Prosh newspapers. The Prosh newspapers are written by a group of students so sometimes the content may be a little crude, but it always contains tonnes of fabulous jokes. Lazy

I should be doing my work but I just feel so lazy today. I think the heat is contributing to my 'bummer' status.

Permission Granted

. . .I've finally done all my Mid-Semester work. Sure, I didn't do a very good job but I think I'll pass just fine! Anyways, mum said I could go to the Poseidon event held by ASIA on the 23rd of April. I'm so happy  I'm going to see if I can get member-priced tickets and if I can drag some of my other friends along with me :D

Winter in Autumn

  It's been really cold recently. For some reason we keep getting storms and weather warnings even though it's only mid Autumn. This kind of weather is usually reserved for July - August so it really is very odd. I guess this is one of the effects of climate change.

No bandwidth left

 I'm stuck at home with a busted internet and over a thousand free minutes to any Optus prepaid mobile. Guess what I'll be doing!

Fluff's Easter

Refreshed

. It's just as I had suspected, no one did anything for April Fool's and I'm sooo not complaining! Furthermore, I'm feeling totally refreshed from my major sleep in.

April Fool's Day

. I'm feeling rather splendid today presumably because tomorrow is Good Friday so I don't have to go to Uni. In other words, I get the chance to really sleep in! The thought alone raises my spirits.


Today is April Fool's day so I'm hoping that nothing too major will occur.
