Post-Birthday and Golf at the Vines
First of all, a big THANK YOU to everyone who wished me Happy Birthday, gave me presents and made my day spectacular!
No, I didn't go clubbing and I didn't drink alcohol either =P
Today was a really good for golfing. I played in the Junior Girls Matchplay (used to be Pennants 3 years ago) and today it was held at the Vines! That's the place in WA that held the Johnny Walker event last year.
I played in the foursomes for the blue team and we ended up playing the full 18 holes! The game was rather evenly matched. After 9 holes we were on all square. My partner and I ended up with +2 ie we won against our opponents!
I wish we didn't have to drive to Swan Valley for that game though. It's so far, my whole day is gone because it takes an hour to drive there and another to drive back, around 4 or 5 hours for the game and an hour for the pre-game stuff. I left the house at 10:30 am and only got back at 6:30 pm.
Also, I'm severely out of practice so now I'm sore all over, I should have done more stretches! ~Ow!

My birthday
It also means that I have to do the compulsory voting also but the main thing is that I can get into pubs and clubs now and no one can complain. I probably won't be exercising my legal rights much anyways but if I want to, now I can.
Cake and presents are always good too. I can't wait. If you're close to me - you'd know that I love presents!

Tests
Recently I've had a lot of work to do. Tonnes of tests and assignments to keep me busy all week. Exams are just around the corner too so I'm incredibly nervous. I don't want to fail first year Uni!
On the brighter side of life, I'm turning 18 soon

Mother's Day
♥ Happy Mother's Day! ♥
For mother's day, mum and dad left the house for a game of golf. Us kids did tonnes of housework such as each of us tidying our own rooms, vacuuming the entire house, doing the laundry, ironing and folding the clothes. Mum was so pleased when she came home. Then we surprised her again by giving her a present - good quality pyjamas set and a scarf.

How to train your Dragon
Last night I watched How to train your Dragon. It is such an awesomely cute movie! I recommend everyone to go watch it if you haven't done so already.
For those of you who want to know how to tame your dragon but can't be bothered watching the movie to find out, I've written some guidelines on how to do so in just 10 not-so-simple steps:
Step 1 - Create a shooting device that will entrap your chosen dragon. Shoot it.
Step 2 - Locate where your dragon has crash landed. Bring a knife with you.
Step 3 - Attempt to kill said dragon but fail miserably (it's just too cute =3).
Step 4 - Use the knife to free the dragon from your trap (the one you shot at it in Step 1).
Step 5 - The dragon flees away so spend a few days trying to find its hideout.
Step 6 - Stay on high ground and drop a pencil (or a rock) into the water below. This will alert your dragon of your presence. If your entrapment device is fluky then the dragon's tail may be damaged thus said dragon will be unable to fly. Think: aerodynamics.
Step 7 - Feed your dragon. Your dragon is now down and cannot get hold of its own food. Also, giving the dragon food means it will like you more. Hurrah, you're a food source for the dragon =P. Warning: dragons like chicken and fish but they do not like eel. Also, try smiling at the dragon. Maybe it will smile back.
Step 8 - Spend time doing nothing with the dragon in the dragon's hideout but keep your distance. You may try drawing in the sand with a stick. Who knows? You may get a lovely surprise.
Step 9 - Make a replacement tail for the dragon. Sneak attack him to attach the tail. You may want to distract your dragon by giving him extra food that day.
Step 10 - go on a test flight with your dragon. Continuously improve the makeshift tail until your dragon can fly perfectly. Note: dragons like their necks scratched but do not scratch the under side of their necks or they will freeze and fall over, possible due to shock or lack of air supply.
Voila! Your dragon is now trained. Congratulations!

Bush fire?
There's been a bush fire I think. What ever it is, the smoke is pretty thick and it seems to be everywhere. It's winter right now - not exactly bush fire season you know? Anyways, because of this, everything seems rather gloomy now.
It was really strange actually. I went into a cafe to have my lunch, and when I left it was as though my world had been covered by a giant grey sheet. Based on the sudden fogginess and the burnt smell, I've come to a conclusion that a bush fire must have occurred.
I could always look this up in the Australian news or something but I'm kinda lazy... =X
